Amy Samaripa

Amy was born and raised in El Campo, Texas, a small farming and oilfield community. She graduated from El Campo High School in 1996 and attended college the following school year. She earned an Associate of Arts degree and later a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston where she proceeded to teach 3rd grade. She also attended UT in Arlington and completed the Authorized OSHA Trainer program.

In 1996, she met her husband, Ramon Flores, and together started up Flores Racing Stables. He trained the horses, she managed the business and was the “Pony Girl” for their stable. Their business flourished. They had numerous thoroughbred horses in training at race tracks and training centers in Texas and Louisiana. In 2001, she had her daughter, Brisenia.

In 2011 the Eagle Ford was booming so Amy decided “It’s now or never!” and made the decision to establish Samaripa Oilfield Services, LLC. After three long months of hustling, she finally got her first wash job. From then on the company grew, Amy trained her crews and worked alongside them and still does so today.

Amy is very hands on and it is not unusual to find her on a job site inside a tank training an employee or washing. Amy’s firsthand knowledge of her services gives her a great advantage, she knows her business, procedures, policies, equipment and tools very well. She loves what she does and can answer any questions regarding her services at the drop of a hat. You will not hear her say “I’ll make a phone call and get back to you”. That is probably why Amy is known as “Boss Lady”.
